Challenging the Blizzard

Acacia thanked god that she had taught Nightingale Protect once again as the relentless slur of snow pouned against the force field that Nightingale was producing. They shivered as the trudged through the snow, eyes peeled for what could be salvation, the beacon.
Another wave of heavy snow hit the force field, and the cold hit with the wind, protect may be keeping out the snow, but the cold was just a fierce as if the fateful move, Sheer Cold, was being directed at them, one after another, without end.
Suddenly a noise other than the onslaught of the blizzard met her ear, Nightingale had spoken up, she had spotted something in the distance.
